Haiku Salut
The London album launch party for the wonderful Haiku Salut, whose debut album, "Tricolore", is released on How Does It Feel To Be Loved? records on March 11th. A three piece from the Derbyshire Dales who make gorgeous instrumental music in the vein of Yann Tiersen, early Mum and Detektivbyran, Haiku Salut are a magical, mesmeric experience live, and this show promises to be very special indeed, as they will be joined onstage by A Little Orchestra.

Kate Goes
A few years ago, Kate Goes were a five piece from Birmingham who were described by Radio 1 as sounding like Emmy The Great backed by the Super Furry Animals - but these days the trio of Beth, Kate and Susie create a strange and wonderful mixture of alt-folk and electronica, like The Unthanks armed with just a Casio keyboard and some squeaky toys.

The Understudies
A few years ago we travelled to Spain with The Understudies and saw them play an amazing acoustic session on Spanish radio. As this gig will be a drum-kit free affair, we've asked the newly expanded Understudies - now featuring Ian from Pocketbooks and Thom of the Gresham Flyers - if they'll play another acoustic set for us. Fans of Tindersticks, Morrissey, Suede, The Auteurs and Butcher Boy, step this way.

A Little Orchestra
Just over a year ago we hosted An Evening With A Little Orchestra at the Buffalo Bar, in which London's fantastic mini orchestra collaborated with a host of singers and musicians, including Haiku Salut. It was a glorious evening, and at the end of that night we asked Haiku Salut if we could release their album. A few months later Haiku were recording one of the album's highlights, "Train Tracks For Wheezy", with A Little Orchestra, and we're very very pleased that they're able to join us tonight, not just to perform with Haiku Salut but to play their own set, which will feature songs from their forthcoming debut album.
