DAS WANDERLUST (Middlesbrough)
'Music as comforting and sticky as an ice cream on a hot summers day' - Everett True (Plan B). Das Wanderlust are a three piece wrong-pop a little blip of the north-east of England. They play 100mph Fisher Price Pop – with noisy guitars, bleepy keyboards, fuzz bass, bang/crash drums and shouty girl vocals.

SCREAMING TEA PARTY (London)
Part japanese, part Italian, Screaming Tea party are Koichi, Theresa and Niyan.
'eclectic brilliance ranging from the wild, raucous and frankly, rabid instrumental Reckless Rabbit to the lovely rather Evan Dando-ish Death Egg. And never have I heard a band switch so easily from industrial, thrash-outs (Between Air and Air) to ethereal baroque waltzes (the superlative Cracked Up Dietrich).'
- Lobster Quadrille

THE TOTAL DROP (London)
TTD are an ace new wave pop group from the heart of the capital, lead by the supremely talented Anna Vincent head honcho of DIY label of the year Snakes and Ladders.
...exciting shining examples of future artpop... - Artrocker

THE SUBLIMINAL GIRLS (London)
....have a stream of great titles and lines and are quite prepared to trash anyone - journalists, indie-bands ('I’ve got an Epiphone guitar – I’m so indie' they sneer) - but they’re sneering from a position of musical strength. Mostly they’re like a camper Art Brut while ‘Halfway to Streatham’ is full-on punk-pop... their cover of Duran Duran’s ‘Hungry Like the Wolf’ shows their musical sense is way above the level of piss-taking clowns. If you want the full music/ good laugh package (think Half Man Half Biscuit), Subliminal Girls deliver. - Soundsxp

THEIR HEARTS WERE FULL OF SPRING (London)
Wonderful indie pop six piece from South London, led by evil tunesmith Makus, Their Hearts Were Full Of Spring specialise in pure wide eyed heartbreaking pop and they play it like no-one else.
'Splendidly crooned vocals grasp the hands of Sparklehorses most wondrous melodies and cuddle up to early Mercury Revs psychedelic tinged orchestration' - God Is In The TV Zine

AMY BLUE (London)
....make beautiful, dark and electrifying music that's different from every band you've heard this year. Pitchfork said they were 'pretty clever actually'. And SPIN like them. Billy Corgan liked them enough to not take them to court. RedHeadedStepChild Records put them on their record. They were the prime movers in the genre of NuGaze until the NME ripped them off and have been happily distancing themselves from overused hyperbole ever since - pigeonhole this you motherfuckers

MY FIRST RADIO (Midlands)
combine the fragile atmospherics of Engineers, Mogwai and Redjetson with the mashed up effects pedal punk of Bloc Party and add the vocal kick in the nuts of Six By Seven and latter day Primal Scream. Shoegazing with size twelves.
www.myspace.com/myfirstradio
Time.Space.Repeat (London)
.... is an ever shifting gestalt entity of spirits contained within the glass jar of London. There are currently five of them, but there is a collective approach and it's not unknown to have violinists and sometimes trumpeters involved as well. The sound has variously been described as optimistic post-rock, shoegaze, lovely and the sound of every great guitar band of the last 20 years.
