Fans of The Brunswick’s hugely successful monthly Brighton Folk night will be delighted to hear that the event’s popular hostess and creator, Amy Hill, will be releasing her long-‐awaited debut solo album "Place of Mind" in April.

Musical philanthropist Amy has been tirelessly showcasing the best of Brighton’s talent at Brighton Folk for three years, warming up the crowd by opening with just a couple of songs of her own - tantalising glimpses into her world.

The launch night of "Place of Mind" will give Amy’s music it's deserved place at the top of the bill. It will feature a live preview of the album itself, with - for one special night only - the album’s full band, comprising members of local legends The Galleons.

Amy is a folk-country singer-songwriter inspired by people, places, Cat Stevens and Joni Mitchell.
