Hailing from Oxford, the 2 girl/2 boy Half Rabbits sound like a fusion of all our favourite bands, so we are super delighted they are playing our bday gig. A selection of their many influences hints at their epic indie/rock sound - Smashing Pumpkins, Joy Division, Editors, Interpol. They recorded their last EP, 'Optimists', with Jesus & Mary Chain and Primal Scream's producer/engineer and their live performances can be categorised as 'must see'. They've been working on new recordings, so come along and discover your new favourite band. Check out the rather ace "Gasoline".

The impressively awesome indie rock trio sound part Manics, part Young Knives their new wave sound has ensured they are "consistently one of the best live bands in town". Giving 110% live, this is a show not to be missed. Last year they released one of the best local albums we've heard - "Austerity for the Hoi Polloi" and within it one of our favourite tracks and videos for Kick in the Doors tonight. They are on the verge of releasing their new min-album so we are super excited they are part of our party plans.

The opening band for our bday gig are the (relatively) new kids on the block although they've already managed to notch up a gig at the O2 and play an instore at Truck. Their sound mixes up a Dinosaur Jr's shoegrazing with epic sounds of The Cure. They've just released their first single and if this is the sound of things to come we are super excited.
