The Diamond Family Archive
Described as Psych-folk, Freak-folk, Alt-folk Laurence Collyer is a reclusive British artist who writes, records and performs music and folk-song using the rather grand moniker, The Diamond Family Archive. Strange and tender songs; personal and pastoral themes; mixed with sleepy-eyed awe creating intense, spectral folk with a distinctly British sound; haunting, fragile, sublime lo-fi melancholia, and atmospheric. Playing Oxford as part of a national tour, catch them here before it'll be a much bigger venue.
Toliesel
...are a 6-piece indie-pop outfit from Oxford with lashings of americana, shoegaze and three part harmonies. Every song is a journey covered in Clapton solos, narrative lyrics, driving rhythms and simple, powerful songwriting and its best.
Jordan O'Shea
CEO and mastermind by the ever expanding Bear On A Bicycle music and art collective and a great acoustic artist in his own right, O'Shea evokes Fionn Regan and Jose Gonzalez at the same time whilst holding on to a distinctly english voice. Having recently opened at Phill McMinn's EP launch and Truck Store's birthday, this boy is certainly on to watch.
