Gypsy Fire's virtuoso jazz violinist - Ben Holder, presents his brand new CD at a concert featuring his exciting quintet (Ben Holder - violin/vcls/keys, Jez Cook - guitars, Richard Exall - clarinet/alto, Paul Jefferies - double bass & Charlie Stratford, drums). Ben's playing has been described as a cross between Grappelli and Vengerov - a true merging of jazz and classical styles and he demonstrates all this beautifully in this new recording which comprises 6 original compositions as well as superb arrangements of great standards. Ben's performances are always supercharged with acrobatic technique, copious melody and great humour.
