Monthly showcase, in Central London of hotly tipped bands and singers. April's installment features Indie Punk from Carlito who recently supported the Palma Violets, Cortes an energetic London based rock band with a Colombian twist and the fabulous Zemmy Momoh who's sound is somewhere between Sia, Lauren Hill and Immogen Heap alongside resident Dj Delphi.
CARLITO
Four piece Indie-Punk band formed in Kingston in 2011.
They've been wowing audiences with their high energy frenetic shows, with a sound that is as much influenced by the power of Iggy and The Stooges as it is by the melodic pop sensibilities of groups such as The Stone Roses.
The band released their debut single "Youth Is Wasted On The Young" in September 2012 and recently supported the Palma Violets in Kingston

CORTES
Hailing from in and around the London area (with a Colombian twist, in the form of front man Andy). Cortes inject authenticity into the world of live rock 'n' roll through their charismatic stage show and strong songs.
With the raw rock/soul talent of lead singer Andy and a diverse background of musical knowledge within the band their talent far exceeds their combined years. They've played numerous gigs in London and shared the stage with the likes of NYC native 'K'Naan'.
"Cortes have an incredible energy on stage. Madly exciting from start to finish. A band of brothers born to headline and shut down a show." - THIS IS WIRED March 2013

ZEMMY MOMOH

Zemmy has a love for melody-driven songs, rich harmonies and choral layers of vocal-led sounds. She's currently promoting her new track 'Brittle Pieces'
Tony Dunne, Decca/Universal Records A&R: "Absolutely gorgeous."
Jacob Brown, Music Editor, Vogue US: "Amazing work... really love it."
Nick Calafato, Last.fm, "Really lovely stuff."

LUKE FERRE
He recently sold out his headline show at The Cellars in his hometown Portsmouth and was the only local artist on the bill. Likened to artists such as Ed Sheeran, Frank Turner, and Nizlopi, Luke Ferre has an ever growing following of dedicated fans everywhere he plays.
Only 19, but already causing quite a stir on the unsigned circuit, having played support slots for The Hoosiers, Gabrielle Aplin and The Blanks (Ted's Band from the TV show Scrubs) on their respective tours, as well as being featured Live In Session on BBC Introducing following the release of his last EP.
He's confirmed to play Blissfields, Beachbreak Live! and Penn Festival for 2013, all re-bookings after successful appearances in 2012.
"The fun of Ed Sheeran with the guitar lines of Frank Turner" - BBC Introducing
"Emotive lyrics, good vibe, lovely voice!" - Luke Concannon, Nizlopi
