Described by Prog magazine as 'Black Flag meets (King Crimson's) Red', and 'Vast walls of emotionally charged, fuzzed out guitar noise' by Rock A Rolla magazine, The Fierce & The Dead have been quietly building up a reputation as a band to watch. The success of their first release, the 19 minute improvised 'Part 1', and their debut album 'If It Carries On Like This We're Moving To Morecambe' led to last years 'On VHS' e.p. which, as Prog Mag put it, 'combines hardcore guitar, Fripp-tastic atonal layers, nightmare organ and ,yes, some lap slide'.
Currently recording new material, The Fierce & The Dead spent 2012 promoting 'On VHS' with a string of shows, culminating in their participation in the Stabbing A Dead Horse Tour with Knifeworld and Trojan Horse. Live they throw everything in and have become a favourite of critics and fans alike. Loud, energetic and bloody good fun.

First are a pretty brutal trio with a hefty output. More people should hear them.
