Africa Day Event – Thursday May 23rd Charlton House
A celebration of African Music with an Africa Day Event on Thursday May 23rd. The line-up for the evening includes some traditional singing and Kora playing from the amazing Guinea musician Mosi Conde. Kenyan songbird, Apelles Ogaga and her band helping us to celebrate 50 years of Kenyan independence and the very exciting and vibrant Afrika Jambbo Band bringing some Congolese Rumba and Soukous, so bring you’re dancing shoes. This is a great opportunity to get a taste of the diversity, depth and richness of African Music, DONT MISS IT!
