AFTER THE ICE
Formed in late 2009 by Paul Lisak, a successful contemporary artist based in Leytonstone, east London. The band's line-up is completed by Hamzah Bashir-Khan on bass and Tomek-Tomek on drums.
Lisak combines the complex subject matter of his visual work with multi-layered guitar effects coupled with a raw sound and gutsy rock riffs in the spirit of Cream and Jimi Hendrix Experience, perfectly punctuated with grooved-out power drumming, climbing bass lines and experimentalist fusion. ATI's sound is an eclectic melting pot of sonic landscapes and a maelstrom of spinning ideas that always combine to deliver harmonious, tightly packed rock songs that are always driven by Paul Lisak's guitar.
After The Ice are progressive, independent-minded and unashamedly populist. The band recently made waves at SxSW and Tallinn Music Week. They are set to release an ep next month, recently recorded at State of the Arc studios and produced by industry veteran Nick Tauber.
"a cock-rocking, acid flash back" (Dazed)
"Paul Lisak's songs are ready to resonate in a wider audience, possibly on Kerrang and Absolute Radio." (Shout4Music)

ME & DEBOE
With their combination of intricate, percussive guitar and exquisitely compelling vocals, Mercy Elise and Sarah Deboe began their collaboration in 2011. Their distinct sound spans a wide range of genres, refusing to be confined or defined, much like the girls themselves.
" ... Two women whose voice acts a single entity and whose guitar playing is as sublime as almost anything you can find and the result is the very cool Me and Deboe. It will be of no surprise to the audience that the music Mercy Elise and Sarah Deboe have contributed is not just good, it is very, very superb..." Ian D. Hall, liverpool sound and vision
"What makes them stand apart from other acoustic performers is their fast and percussive playing style.
They are electrifying live - their hands flying up and down the fretboards of their guitars as if on fast-forward, (you certainly could not imagine the likes of Katie Melua doing THAT). It's really hard to pin down Me and Deboe's original, raw sound; they seem to blast through the genre barrier effortlessly. You simply have to hear them. Check them out at upcoming gigs..." TOM LAW
In March 2012, singer/songwriter/guitarist Tom, began posting his own music videos regularly on YouTube, in an effort to build and consolidate a size-able following. Since then his channel has grown at an outstanding rate, having now independently gained an audience of over 43,000 people subscribed to his channel, while racking up over 1.4 Million views in the process. Not bad for a laid-back surfer from Cornwall!
He's gigged extensively thanks to his passion for performing live and has played shows with chart topping acts such as The Feeling and Gabrielle Aplin. On stage Tom radiates energy, from foot stomping enthusiasm to walls of raw emotion. His songs are catchy, as well as intimately personal - while always remaining incredibly relatable.
