DEERHOOF:
Pitchfork went so far as to label Deerhoof as “the best band in the world.” The New York Times described them as “one of the most original rock bands to have come along in the last decade.” From their humble beginnings as an obscure San Francisco noise act, they’ve become one of indie music’s most influential bands with their ecstatic and unruly take on pop.

BIG COSMOS:
Glimmering reverb laden future-pop gems, Big Cosmos invent a mixture of late 80’s british guitar music of the likes of Blue Nile, Cocteau Twins, and The Cure, sensitively incorporating up to date synths and atmospherics (think radio department, m83).

This will be their first Oxford show in support of their newly released ‘Illuminance ep’. Initially released on limited laser cut boxes with USB wristband, the EP is now available on super limited pale pink cassette in special presentation boxes, and digital download (via Blessing Force)

TRUST FUND:
One of our favorite acts to come out of Oxford in the last few years; Now based out of Bristol, Trust Fund are ceaselessly inventive, tender and individual; recalling the lo-fi moments of Mercury Rev, John Maus, and Animal Collective, but with delicate 80’s tinged pop sensibility of it’s own that soulfully prevents any influences feeling like they’re casting a shadow over them.
