Event information
Come and make a 1913 style hat (big with bold decorations) using modern materials to make a comment on today's protests; for example using discarded packaging to reference environmental campaigns.
Helena Roden will provide you with a basic hat and materials, then demonstrate some decorative techniques but the trimmings are up to you and your imagination! The hats will be white so bring along any white things that might be useful; shampoo bottles, lace doilies, your old polling card, interesting white objects.
