CHAS PALMER-WILLIAMS (ex-Lightyear)

Chas is the former singer from UK ska-punk band Lightyear. Respected for their work ethic, strong grass roots origins and "unorthodox" live shows - as much as they were clowns, they had an underlying, honest message and respect in the underground scene, never diverting from that original ethos.

As part of Lightyear, Chas' highlights include playing Reading and Leeds Festival four times (also in the campsite with a PA and generators dressed as ninjas after Metallica had played, *technically* headlining the entire festival), numerous Radio One airplays (Mike Davies, John Peel, Steve Lamacq), being invited to support Steve-O from MTV's Jackass show on a sell out UK tour before subsequently getting thrown off the Jackass tour. Oh, and going on stage with Ice T dressed as a pantomime horse.

With detailed, clever, humourous and sad lyrics about Midlands pride (ahem), losing loved ones, the confusion of what happens when your life doesn't pan out the way you planned and an undying geek love for games workshop, Chas released his first EP, "we showed them, didn't we" on Ashes records in December 2010 and is currently putting the finishing touches on his debut album.

Born in Liverpool to a single parent working class family, Chas started writing lyrics when he was 8 after being put to the back of the class room for disrupting every lesson he was in. In the last year of school, at 16, he was diagnosed with dyslexia.

He moved to the midlands where he spent his formative years making life long friends, skateboarding and getting in trouble with his band Lightyear. He now lives in Brighton.

Having played over 2000 shows in his career so far, Chas is back on the road.

He still cannot recite the alphabet.

MICHAEL MORMECHA (Mojo Fury)

Mojo Fury are a Northern Irish alternative rock band from Lisburn formed in 2004, drawing comparisons to NIN, Queens of the Stone Age and Nirvana.

To date, the band have toured all over the country, touring with Oceansize and ASIWYFA and supporting the likes of Biffy Clyro, Oceansize, Two Door Cinema Club and The Cooper Temple Clause to name a few. They also appeared at three of the Sunday Times' Essential Festivals in 2011 - Sonisphere, Two Thousand Trees and Beautiful Days.

Their debut album, "Visiting Hours of a Travelling Circus" has been lauded by all corners of the rock music press: iTunes ran the band as 'Single of the Week', Rock Sound as 'Band of the Week' and features in Front and Kerrang magazines. Artrocker ('Album of the Month'), Kerrang, Big Cheese and Rock Sound were all lavish in their praise, while BBC Radio 1, NME Radio, XFM, Total Rock and more have played cuts from the album.
