JAZZ RE:FEST

For over a decade jazz refreshed has been on the cutting edge of live jazz in London playing host to brand new and well-established bands both homegrown and international.

We have often played with the idea of putting on a larger event or jazz festival and we figure what better way to celebrate our landmark birthday than to host the very first jazz re:fest. It is our aim to make jazz re:fest an annual event that grows into something big.


WHEN & WHERE

Jazz re:fest takes place on Saturday 24th August 2013 at The Flyover | Portobello (3 - 5 Thorpe Close, W10 5XL)

Doors Open 7:30pm - live music starts 8:30pm SHARP, 3am finish.

This is the Saturday just before the world famous Notting Hill Carnival - so why not make a weekend of it?

We have dug into our vast selection of bands that have performed at jazz refreshed in Mau Mau bar over the last 10 years to come up with this stellar line-up with more to be confirmed.

Tickets are £20 + Booking fee

50 Early bird tickets are available @ £15 + booking fee so get them ASAP.

The venue holds the decision to allow people to pay on the door, but don't take the risk.. buy your ticket in advance

TRAVEL

The Flyover is located in the heart of the Notting Hill area right under the A40 Flyover between Portobello Road and Ladbroke Grove, directly next to Portobello Green and above the Portobello Green Fitness Centre.

If you're standing outside Ladbroke Grove Tube - cross at the lights, turn left and once you're under the flyover turn right. It's about 50 metres up on your right.

PARKING

After 5pm you can park in Thorpe Close virtually outside the Flyover. 2 designated disabled parking spaces are available within 20 metres of the venue entrance.

ACCESS

There is a stair lift up to the venue and once on the first floor there is level access (including to the balcony) and one accessible toilet.

We can organise early entry for those customers who require this and if you require a personal assistant or access worker to accompany you to an event we can provide free entry to this person. We can also arrange viewing areas if necessary.

A car parking space can be reserved for visitors with access needs.

All security staff are trained to know how to assist disabled customers in case of emergency. Every disabled person is allocated a member of security when they arrive who is to go to their assistance if we need to evacuate.
