Blue On Blue
...are a boy/Girl electronic/shoegaze duo from London. This is only their second Oxford show - the first they were scouted by MAO for a basement gig with Spring Offensive about 18 months ago. Since then they grown, and evolved and TQ is very happy to bring them back out side the M25.

“A stripped-down, garage take on shoegaze; the boy/girl guitarists could be Bobby Gillespie and Kim Deal… the point is: they could be tremendous.” – Drowned In Sound.


After The Thought
Local ambient/electronica producer with elements of noise and shoegaze fresh from his first headline gig, at MAO. His first album, a collection of works to date, was released at Easter with more material on the way.

Kid Kin
"Peter Lloyd adopted the name Kid Kin as his moniker for his solo instrumental project. He is a budding artist with ample amounts of potential in the cinematic and post-rock scene. His upcoming debut album, New Day At Dusk, will be released January 28. This marks his official footprint in the music scene all the while bringing in new elements along with the old. His style fluctuates within the realm of post-rock, though there are definitive aspects taken from other genres as well. You'll hear plenty of piano woven in between the tracks, while at times you'll encounter synthesizers making for a creative mixture between traditional post-rock tunes and electronic synth pop."

Lee Riley (LR/GW)
Lee's practise is a pure art approach to soundscape and noise. He uses tradition instruments and equipment (guitars, pedals) with some modifications to produces glacial walls of texture and density. Having played at this years OCM Open and open for Petrels it's nice to see this kind of music being recognised in Oxford.
