THE BARNUM MESERVE
The Barnum Meserve bring together a unique sound, which is accompanied by a cinematic orchestral backing. The haunting piano tunes are accompanied by an impressive vocal range, which will draw you in with its emotional softness, and then blow you away with Leon's distinctive raucous scream. This combined with powerful drums and a grinding bass, guarantees the floor will be shaking!
They supported The Jezebels on a world tour and their music has received support on both national and local radio stations including Amazing Radio and BBC Radio Nottingham.
"If you want dark and theatrical piano ballads with screaming powerful vocals then this is it" LeftLion magazine

DANCING YEARS
Leeds based band who's songs soar across an orchestral array of instruments or drop to creep along attentive listening ears. Fair comparisons are made to Damien Rice's attention to lyrical and harmonic detail as much as they are made to SigurRos' dizzying symphonic climaxes. They've toured the UK supporting Benjamin Francis Leftwich and Jamie N Commons and shows supporting the likes of James Vincent McMorrow, Dry The River, Stornoway, Foy Vance and Lone Wolf. They were shortlisted on the Independent's IoS Sound for 2013.
"They have mastered the dynamic between calming stillness and explosive euphoria, through the use of rich instrumentation and a strong voice" - DrownedinSound
"Stirring, melancholic, campfire singalongs. Piano-driven folk with delicate but powerful vocals, moving between stillness and euphoria" - Q magazine

JAY LEIGHTON
began his music career in 2008 with a major label deal for his band Buffalo 77. The trio, fronted by Jay, quickly gained momentum and signed to Island Records. After two singles, an album and very little success, the band decided to split and go their separate ways. Disillusioned with the music industry and all it had to offer, Jay considered quitting music altogether, but soon found himself back in the studio recording a solo mini-album 'Polaroids & Stills'. Released as a limited edition CD and sold at live shows, the album quickly sold out.
Buoyed with a new found enthusiasm for his music, Jay picked up his guitar and toured - playing live anywhere anyone would have him. After a year of playing festivals and live shows all over the world, including a European tour with Lou Rhodes, Jay went back into the recording studio to record his full-length debut album. Co-produced by Jay and acclaimed producer Ali Staton, the album features Jon Thorne (Lamb) on double-bass, Danny Keane (Tom Baxter, Scott Mathews, The Good, The Bad and the Queen) on piano/cello and Che Albrighton on drums.
The album entitled 'As The Sun Comes Up' is out now.
