Please join us for the launch of Simon's Jarvis's Night Office at the special event POETRY AND THE SPIRITUAL BODY.

An extraordinary meditation across 224-pages, Night Office explores the invisible life of the soul as it throws off from itself tunes, colours, times, histories and nations.

For the launch Simon Jarvis will read from his book and discuss its themes with Rowan Williams, former Archbishop of Canterbury and now Master of Magdalene College, Cambridge.

Simon Jarvis is Gorley Putt Professor of Poetry and Poetics at Robinson College, Cambridge. Jarvis is the author of books on Wordsworth, Adorno and Shakespearean criticism and several poetry books including The Unconditional and Dionysus Crucified.

The event will take place at Hinde St Methodist Church in Marylebone on the 26th September. Please arrive at 6.45 pm for a 7pm start.

The £3 entry charge is a donation to the Hinde Street Methodist Mission's work with homeless and marginalised people.
