Hailing from Bristol and Winchester in the UK, Polly and the Billets Doux are a folky four-piece who The Sunday Times describes as "a harmonious blend of folk, rock, blues, soul and gospel".

Their 'Head of Steam' EP charted at number 17 on Radio One's Indie Chart and was quickly followed up by their debut album which featured in The Word Magazine's Best New Music. They've performed live sessions on Radio 4 with Cerys Matthews and been championed across the airwaves by the likes of Bob Harris on Radio 2 and Tom Robinson on Radio 6.

Since 2011 Polly and the Billets Doux have been appearing on the festival circuit with memorable appearances at Glastonbury, The Big Chill. The Secret Garden Party and Cambridge Folk Festival. They've even managed to squeeze in a support slot with The Fun Loving Criminals.

With a new release 'Hold Fast' under their belt, they've taken to the road for 2013 with their reputation as a formidable force on the stage spreading quickly.

The Emerald Armada have recently completed a hectic summer of festival appearances, with plenty of new material sneaking into their sets in anticipation of a new EP this Autumn. This will be your last chance to hear them before they embark on a UK wide tour with Ciaran Lavery.

Ciaran's latest album 'Not Nearly Dark' has received great feedback from fans and critics alike since its release last year. With both acts having recently sold out venues as big as The Empire and The Black Box, we recommend getting tickets online in advance as this is sure to be a busy, yet intimate show.
