Secret Christmas Crafternoon Tea Party

Event information

We first held a christmas crafternoon tea party last year and we all really enjoyed it, so we're doing it all again!

But this time somewhere a little different, a village hall in Cheshire where there's plenty of room for a table to sew christmas decorations at (with help and materials from Jo Johnston of French Knots Craft Studio) and then move across for a delicious festive afternoon tea, all served on vintage china and linens.

Menu

Welcome drink: something mulled!

Unlimited leaf teas: English Breakfast, Earl Grey or Green Tea with Mint (or fresh coffee)

Finger sandwiches:
Egg mayonnaise with watercress
Brie with cranberry sauce and rocket
Turkey and chestnut stuffing
Poached salmon with dill

Freshly baked cranberry (and plain) scones with clotted cream and preserves

Pistachio, lemon and almond cake
Black Forest cake
Lemon drizzle cake
Frangipane mince pies
White chocolate florentines

To add to the fun and merriment we've invited a few of our favourite handmade stallholders to join us with their wares and they are: (1) Teawagon with bundles of vintage fabric, cards, pom pom garlands, owls, cushions, (2) Oooh Betty with cushions and all sorts of vintage loveliness and (3) Groovy Gang Soaps and Candles with their beautifully wrapped handmade soaps and bath products.

Treat yourself or bring a friend. Groups welcome.

£25 per head.
