The Discovery 2 Halloween special features Little Brother Eli who combine the excitement of old skool hip hop and an injection of good old rock n roll, Leeds indie rockers Morain, Mancunian singer/songwriter Franco & the Dreadnought and ambient, dream pop and shoegaze from Holden Girls plus Dj Delphi
Morain
A 4-piece Indie rock band from Leeds. Their aim has always been to write pic guitar-led tracks with a distinct British cadance. Morain's huge melodies and even larger choruses are even more prominent thanks to a guitar-heavy lead, which brings their sound together. Singer Wil Frost pairs a distinctive vocal touch with melodies big enough to fill the largest of venue.
Their debut EP 'Are We Lost', released through Futures' label Indigo Records, spawned the title track single which received 11,000 plays on YouTube in the first month of release, and garnered support from the likes of BBC Introducing, Q Radio & Amazing Radio.
On the back of this coverage they secured supports with the likes of We Are The Ocean, Motion City Soundtrack, Jim Lockey & the Solemn Sun, Sons & Lovers, and most recently embarked on a full UK tour with Canterbury.

Little Brother Eli
is the musical lovechild of Alex Grew and Joshua Rigal. Accompanied by their band consisting of Benji Page, Adam Stowe and Linus Taylor, they combine the excitement of old skool hip hop and an injection of good old rock n roll. Creating a sound that is not only relatable to this generation but is musically intriguing to all.
After their recent performance at iconic Jazz venue Ronnie Scotts in Soho and the Cornbury Festival, it's no surprise that Little Brother Eli have gained a lot of fans in the lead up to the release of their debut EP.
"The Real Deal when it comes to blues and soul music" - The Flux.

Mancunian singer / songwriter, a class above the rest in terms of a unique fingerstyle approach to playing guitar and consistently good songs full of hooks and twists.
He's just completed a 21 date American tour across 6 states tied in with 14 collaborative writing sessions including some huge names such as Pam Sheyne (writer for Cristina Aguilera / Corin Bailey Rae / Miley Cirus) and Marcella Detroit (Shakespeare Sister / Bananarama)
Franco was asked personally by Desmond Tutu to write a song celebrating the life of Nelson Mandela. The archbishop gave the song entitled "Inyaniso" (translation - "Truth") as a gift to Mr Mandela for his birthday. His forthcoming single, a collaboration with mancunion MC, James Gill is set for release on Nov 26th. The video features cameo appearances from Craig Charles and Terry Christian
Precise musicianship, heartfelt lyrics and a cheeky grin, this is new talent at its very best.... you'll be hooked. Shane Cary, Musicosis

Holden Girls
An Ely, Cambridgeshire quintet who after a few line up changes have settled on Connor Browne, Luke Cowan, Owen Kennedy, Alex Brown and George Fletcher. Their oldest member not yet 16, since the addition of Alex and George the group has assumed a tighter and more textured live sound. Moments of dreaminess and noisier, intense sounds define their set. Their distinctive sound draws on anything from Low to Mogwai, Talk Talk and Cocteau Twins, with Browne's vocals compared to Ian Curtis' deep croon
