At 7.30pm: JACK AND MICHAEL WHITEHALL: HIM AND ME
Jack Whitehall and his father Michael invite you to an evening of entertaining and outrageous family stories. Join in the fun as Jack and Michael open up the Whitehall archives and share their hilarious memories with you from their forthcoming book Him & Me.
Him & Me is a hugely entertaining and irreverent account of a unique relationship between a father and son. Written in two distinctive styles, it reflects the larger-than-life personalities of its authors.
Packed with anecdotes, some embarrassing and indiscreet, many warm and touching, Him & Me is lavishly illustrated with family photographs and Jack's original illustrations. Friends, relatives, neighbours, teachers, actors, none are safe once Jack and Michael have opened up the Whitehall archives and shared their hilarious memories with us.
And at 9.15pm:
JOHN LLOYD: LIFF OF QI
On the back of his run at the Edinburgh Fringe, the founder of QI, Blackadder and Spitting Image, and frontman of BBC Radio 4's Museum Of Curiosity, returns to his roots as a writer-performer with a hilarious take on The Meaning of Liff and other quite interesting stuff.
'Every behind-the-scenes nugget – from Harry Enfield treading on a stuffed armadillo, to Stephen Fry’s off-the-cuff script writing skills – is told with a knowing charm.' Time Out
'If you’re after a supremely grown-up, beguilingly childish, well-nigh perfect hour of laughter, all human liff is here.' The Daily Telegraph
