Ricky And The Hats
With their colourful range of facial expressions and a decent amount of banter, Ricky and the Hats are turning heads! Their playful, tongue in cheek lyrics, fused with expressive vocals and funky reggae pop-beat poetry, makes for an interesting fusion delivered by an eclectic mix of characters who simply love to engage with their audience.
This spectacularly talented bunch were selected from hundreds of acts to perform live at London Rocks 2013, an annual charity awareness and fundraising event at Cafe De Paris.
Competing against 10,000 acts, they were crowned runners up at Open Mic UK 2013.

DANNY TOEMAN
It's the New Generation of UK Soul! Neo-Vintage: Carving out a niche in this post-post-modern musical landscape, this is a unique brand of home-cooked soul music that defies the typical sub-genre labeling.
“Firstly he can write a damn fine lyrically positive and soulful tune...Secondly, musically he sure can play a damn fine tune and thirdly he's got one of 'those' voices...Totally soulful and sultry with a gorgeous range [...] that'll have Jools Holland knocking on his door before long.” - Jumbo Records
From April 2012 onwards, the song 'When the Lights Go Down' from the Life Blood Soul album was put on the in-store playlist of the international Abercrombie and Fitch lingerie branch, Gilly Hicks.
Danny Toeman has performed as the opening act for Charles Bradley and his Extraordinaires, Incognito, Robert Cray, and Loose Ends.
“He sort of struck me as being a much younger, even funkier Richard Dreyfuss. Just something about him… and then there’s that incredible singing voice, how cool can you get?! That guy’s amazing” - Alan Raw – BBC Introducing.
“The epitome of pure soul … so bloody smooth it feels like sailing down a river of melted chocolate.” - Nima Baniamer, croon.co.uk
