It's that time of year again... to strip yourselves of your woolen scarves and bobble hats and get down to some delectable live music and dirty bass courtesy of Oxfords finest.

The Library's Homework DJ's, Chalky and Kyte welcome you back to another evening of festive, fun filled frolics.

Featuring live performances from Temple Funk Collective, plus very special guests, Coloureds, Bossaphonik Dan, DJ duo Chalky&Kyte and hosted by Oxfords incredible Beat boxer, PieMan.

TEMPLE FUNK COLLECTIVE - 9 Piece Funk-step Horn and percussion ensemble mixing modern tracks with New Orleans fused funk, drum and bass, you name it, they do it!

COLOUREDS - Electro trio, better known as Coloureds, formed in Oxford in early 2009. After setting up their own studio, the duo started sampling the biggest and chunkiest sounds they could squeeze out of both vintage and modern synthesisers, then began hashing them together with the grainier nastier tones of their circuit-bent kids keyboards and toys. These hybrid synth sounds would form the basis of their music, before being arranged into dancy and driving rhythms along with the drums and samples.
To date, the trio have already had the pleasure of playing shows with the likes of Annie Mac, SBTRKT, The 2 Bears, 65daysofstatic, Holy Fuck, and even comedian Matt Berry. They've also received airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6Music, and various other radio stations.
We're over the moon to have these guys playing on this rare occasion.

DJ BOSSAPHONIK DAN - Dan has been putting on the Bossaphonik club night at The Cellar for almost a decade now, an institution of a night providing Oxford with a scene for live jazz-world acts. As a DJ he is a purveyor of the sweetest jazz-dance and most colourful global grooves. His sets take the dancefloor on an uplifting journey through contemporary Latin-American, African, Balkan, Middle Eastern and Nu-Jazz sounds and rhythms!

PIEMAN - The Human Beatbox. PieMan has been Beatboxing on stage for over seven years pushing out all sorts of beats and bass lines, from Hip Hop to Dubstep to Reggae to Drum n Bass. He has been to the last 8 of the UK Beatbox Championships and performed to 1000s of party goers at festivals and night clubs around the country. From head bopping to jaw dropping the PieMan live show is something that has to be seen to be believed.
