Cyril Davies & The Birth Of UK Blues Tribute Day

Entrance to this event is on Dartmouth Park Hill, next to the taxi office.

Between 7:30pm-12am

There will be a screening of 11 unseen songs from UK TV archives plus a rare screening of SIMON HEYWORTH's documentary LIVING WITH THE BLUES about Cyril and his many line-ups, which has not been seen anywhere since the 1980's.

7.30pm onwards -

The evening will be filled with live music paying tribute to this Great Man and the Birth of Uk Blues.

Headlined by DAVE BALL's BAND - BALLBREAKERS which consists of SAM KELLY on drums (www.sam-kelly.com) Spy on bass, Richard Simmons on keyboards and Dave Ball (Procol Harum, Long John Baldry and Bedlam) on guitar.

Throughout the evening there will also be several special guests including:
Alan Glenn on Harmonica (The Yardbirds and Nine Below Zero)
Art Themen on saxes (Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated and also Cyril Davies) we expect several VIP guests TBC. and several harmonica players.
