Daisy Rodgers Music brings together three fantastic new bands at the infamous Jericho Tavern, Oxford on a Friday night in March. Doors are at 8.00pm, first band on at 8.30pm, 18+. Come along and discover your favourite new band.

Beta Blocker and The Body Clock are a three-piece from Oxford who define their music as “deliciously distorted, balancing noise, melody, space, and rhythm in a fuzz-fuelled frenzy.” We just think they are ruddy ace and with each new EP they just get better and better. Their sound is somewhere between Pavement, My Blood Valentine and Dinosaur Jr with an added surf wave dreamlike edge. They’ve toured throughout the UK and this will be their first headline slot at the Jericho, and with a recent Nightshift demo of the month under their belt they stormed into Nightshift’s favourite tracks of 2013. Black Casino & the Ghost
“London based alt rock outfit supporting the release of their debut album”
London based four piece BCATG recently released their debut album and after one spin, we were hooked. Alternative/rock with a dose of bluesy roots, over layered with Elisa Zoot’s amazing vocals. With connections to Candy Says they certainly have a feel of early ‘Little Fish’ about them. Poledo
“Sounding like The Cribs meets The Wedding Present”
Oxford based but now on their travels around the UK, they return to Oxford for a special gig to support the launch of their new EP. They’ve recently been spotted by NME who featured them last month in their ones to watch, comparing them to The Cribs and saying they produce ‘scuzzy indie-rock at its finest’. They also became one of our two surprise highlights of this year’s Oxford Punt (along with Agness Pike), so we are super excited that they complete a great line of awesome new music. Check out their track ‘Loser’.
