Event information
Conscious roots music from the Congo, Mulele Matondo and his 10 piece orchestra are inspired by the traditional sounds and rhythms of the “twa” pigmies from the region. Large 5 part vocal harmonies sit alongside hypnotic guitars bringing the sound of the sanza fused with jazz riffs, drums and percussion exude grooving polyrhythms.
