Blowzabella.

This event is a dance not a concert, but it's fine to just come and listen if you don't want to dance. No reserved seating. Doors open 7:30pm. Starts at 8pm. Finishes 11pm. Bar.

Blowzabella is Andy Cutting - diatonic button accordion; Jo Freya - vocals, saxophone, clarinet; Paul James - border bagpipes, saxophone, whistle; Gregory Jolivet - hurdy-gurdy; David Shepherd - violin; Barn Stradling - bass guitar; Jon Swayne - border bagpipes, saxophone.

The band make an inimitable, driving drone-based sound played with a fabulous sense of melody, rhythmic expertise and sheer feeling.
They compose their own music which is influenced by English and European traditional dance music. Many of their tunes have become well known "standards" in the modern folk repertoire and are played by people all over the world.
