NICK PRIDE AND THE PIMPTONES

Hailing from Newcastle Nick Pride and the Pimptones are truly the funk and soul kings of the north east. Their music is a fusion of footstomping licks and wall shaking breaks that envokes the very spirit of a late 60s dancefloor.

Horn sections blow, harmonicas wail and its all pinned together by a host of guest vocalists singing the tones of New Orleans. Each one adds a unique flavour to the Pimptones and makes each show unmissable.
