Kit Club #6: Fimber Bravo, Sephine Llo & Synaesthete

Fimber Bravo - An indisputable national treasure, steel pan maestro Bravo has carved out a career over five decades including countless collaborations and projects. Now teaming up with electronics wizard Susumu Mukai (Zongamin), Bravo summons a post apocalyptic tropicalia of steel pan, heavy synth and syncopation, spanning from Trinidad to Tokyo (via Senegal) and back again. Excited is a massive understatement.

Sephine Llo - Sephine's astonishing voice, array of curious instruments and beautifully unorthodox songs have been winning the plaudits since her debut EP, "Flame", came out on Tape Club in February. The 405 likened her sound to "a group of Gregorian lady-monks crowding around a broken photocopier, before U-turning through a meadow and burning a giant effigy of Vaughan Williams". Incredible live.

Synaesthete - Kit's very own drum smashing, self-harmonising force of nature is back following the release of her lauded "Earth & Air" EP. Expect minimal wave synths, Bulgarian style harmonies and plenty of athletic drum walloping. Also excellent live. We are really proud of this lineup!

On the decks will be Kit family Dramatic Records, Jonny Mugwump of Exotic Pylon and DJ Negative Skills (aka oMMM). Prepare for house party vibes, cheap beer and a free parcel of zine, mixtape and other goods.
