Damnably at 8: Chris Brokaw live at Vortex, London

As part of Damnably's 8th birthday celebration's we bring you Chris Brokaw live at London's Vortex on May 24th for a solo electric set encompassing recent works.



Chris Brokaw was a founding member in 2 of the most influential US post-punk bands:COME & Codeine but has played in something like 60 bands including GG ALLIN, The New Year, Thurston Moore Band, Lemonheads, Martha's Vineyard Ferries and also performed as a duo with Geoff Farina. He's long been the tour buddy of choice for many great acts including Nirvana, The Pixies, Mono, Dinosaur Jr and Shellac.

In 2012 Chris released 'Gambler’s Ecstasy' (Damnably/12XU), a rock solo album five years in the making that scored 4/5 in Mojo, 8.5/10 in TLOBF, 8/10 in The 405.
Damnably also released 'The Angel's Message To Me' and 'Boarder's Door' with Chris and Geoff Farina and back in 2007 Chris played our 2nd only gig so we're pleased to have him back.
