Esther Dee has been described as 'The musical equivalent of stroking a baby seal... soft, silky and leaves you with a magical sense of wonder'. And actually yes, that's spot on. Esther's various musical guises - she is a Mediaeval Baebe, part of Gypsy Jazz festival favourites Manouche and an in demand session singer - have seen her play everywhere from Grammy award winning tours of Australasia to Cathedral tours of Europe. And now she prepares to launch her debut solo album 'Carousel' produced by Kevin Kerrigan (Brian Eno, Bjork, Kylie, the lot). Her unlikley collective of top flite musicians create a futuristic fairground backdrop to Esther's captivating songs.
