John Lavin, Fiction Editor of Wales Arts Review will explain the project of the online arts journal to ‘map Wales in fiction’. Writers Jon Gower, Francesca Rhydderch and Joao Morais will read from their work and discuss the importance of place in literature.

The Newport author of romantic fiction for young adults will talk about her rise to fame, balancing writing with a physics degree and her listing by Time magazine as one of the world’s most influential teenagers.

The popular poet and psychogeographer discusses his latest book, Edging the Estuary, a perambulation around the Severn.

The writer and professor will discuss his work, including A Sting in the Tail, a fascinating study of bumblebees.

4.45 Angela V. John (6th Session)
The biographer will discuss the extraordinary life of Margaret Haig Thomas, the woman who became the 2nd Viscountess Rhondda of Llanwern.
