Song Sisters Tour - Fiona Bevan & Kal Lavelle

Successful singer songwriters Fiona Bevan & Kal Lavelle are touring the UK in a unique double headliner show to bring much needed attention to the gender disparity in the songwriting industry . Only 13% of songs registered with PRS are written by women. Crazy huh?

Teaming up with Helen Meissner (Folkstock Arts Foundation), who champions up and coming artists, Kal and Fiona, who have played with Ed Sheeran, Nick Mulvey, Ingrid Michaelson and Nerina Pallot, among others, are setting off on a national double headline tour this summer. The tour will also incorporate an innovative songwriting Masterclass element - both Kal and Fiona have written songs with and for other successful artists, including Fiona's co-write Little Things which became a huge hit for One Direction.

The 'Song Sisters' songwriting clinics are being offered as free entry events for women only. The songwriting masterclass will take place during the afternoon followed by the evening showcase with a local musician (chosen by SoapBox) and another artist chosen by Folkstock Arts Foundation, both playing in the first half.

This special tour will see these two spell binding singer songwriters, play in the gorgeous surroundings of St Peters by the Waterfront, Ipswich. This is an ALL AGES venue and has no bar so its BYOB too. We're guna create a cosy den at the front with loads of cushions & fairylights so lounging blissfully will be thoroughly encouraged (there will be proper seating too though).

Please note, there are limited tickets available for this gig due to its very special nature of the show and the venue capacity so advance booking is recommended. Also, tickets will be tiered, £6 when bought BEFORE July 1st, then £8 per ticket thereafter.
