Formed by Magazine, Visage & St Louis Union Keyboard-Supremo Dave Formula, with Angel Brother's Dave (guitar) and Keith (drums) alongside roots session legend Andy Seward on bass, The Finks are the ultimate, authentic Hammond organ funk outfit.

Playing tracks by The Meters, Booker T & The MGs and Jimmy Smith, mixed with a bunch of outstanding original tunes, The Finks are a unique, danceable and exciting pedigree beat combo that pays homage to the great grooves of the past, with a sharp eye on the future of funk.

Stylish, snappy and soulful, Dave Formula & The Finks are Europe's finest groove-organ quartet. Don't miss their first ever Brighton show.

Plus special guests The Near Jazz Experience formed by multi-instrumentalist Terry Edwards (Gallon Drunk, The Higsons, etc), bassist Mark Bedford (Madness) and drummer Simon Charterton (The Higsons) in the spring of 2011. Born out of a love of improvised music which was accessible (funky beats and grooves) yet experimental enough to break the mould of middle-of-the-road jamming, the trio built up a following at a residency in the heart of London's East End, headlining the monthly Sartorial Records music nights.
