Nightwalks with Teenagers

Nightwalks with Teenagers is a late-night walk through local cityscapes in the company of a bunch of young people from in and around Newcastle, UK and Toronto, Canada.

Part social event, part recreational activity, part party; what better way to spend an evening than strolling in the company of teenagers?

Wunderbar and the Platypus group are working with the Torontonians, a group of Canadians who came up with the idea for Nightwalks with Teenagers; events that lead adults - and anyone else who wants to come - around cities as they choose to explore them.

The Torontonians "constantly break barriers between adults and teenagers through our various arts and events" and previous Nightwalks have involved dares, treasure hunts, dancing in the streets, and ghost encounters.

Our walks may contain all or none of those - our Platypuses and the Torontonians are devising the route and content of the walks during workshops the week leading up to the walks.
