An evening with a difference: a famous and ground-breaking silent film The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari projected on our big screen complete with a live accompaniment from award winning guitarist and composer Graeme Stephen. The Cabinet of Dr Caligari is the newly-restored German expressionist masterpiece from 1920 directed by Robert Wiene (and could be a little scary for small children). To provide the live music, Graeme will be backed by his brilliant and talented jazz trio comprising Martin Kershaw, Saxophone; Mario Caribe, Bass; and Tom Bancroft, Drums. Graeme won the Innovation Award for his Score to the classic Silent film Sunrise and Instrumentalist of the Year award at the Scottish jazz awards.
