Mother of God are returning for their first ever UK Headlining Tour this September, in support of their majorly appraised recent release, ‘Black Ocean’.

Alongside these rocking Swedes, we’ve lined up another Special Guest offering, which will be announced very shortly, as well as several of the UK’s finest stoner, blues, rock artists to warm your minds to the melting.

Mother of God:
This Swedish, genre-crossing, highly respectable four piece are finally headlining UK events for the first time, in support of their new EP ‘Black Ocean’. Born in 2008 and raised on rock in Morgårdshammar, Sweden, they're known for their retro ‘70s mentality with a favourable blend of a more modern approach. Mother of God no doubt have some appreciation for the finer things in ‘70s rock – there are beards to prove it – but musically they incorporate influences from grunge and the heavy grooves of the early ‘90s. Bands like Soundgarden and Alice in Chains mesh their downtrodden grunge melodies, alongside classic inspiration drawn from Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.

Having already performed at Freak Valley, Wacken Open Air, Krökbacken and having been chosen to support the likes of YOB, Dozer and Imperial State Electric, they're finally in the UK - headlining a heavy, blues drenched, stoner rock feast of an event!
