Castle Comedy is proud to present one of the best stand up comedians in the country, Ian Stone!
Ranked amongst the top ten stand-ups in Britain by The Independent, Ian Stone is one of the most talented topical acts and comperes in the country. Edgy and provocative, with an easy-going manner and self-depreciating style, Ian is at great ease bantering with an audience. He's also a member of the Comedy Store's critically acclaimed 'Cutting Edge' team. Ian also received a nomination in 2012 for the BEST SHOW at the Leicester Comedy Festival Awards.
He is a regular on radio 5Live, Radio 4 and Absolute Radio where he co - presents Ian Wright Rock and Roll Football Show. Sticking to the football theme, Ian is the star of BT Sports 'The Football's On'. He has also appeared on Mock The Week (BBC 2), The World Stands Up (Paramount Comedy 2005) The Comedy Store (Ch5 - 3 appearances and 1 for The Comedy Channel), Never Mind The Buzzcocks (BBC 2), The Stand-Up Show (BBC 1), Saturday Live (ITV), Live at Jongleurs (ITV), The 11 O'clock Show (CH4).

Also on the bill is Matt Rees! Multi-award winning Welsh comedian Matt Rees has generated a huge buzz on the circuit over the past few years with his unique brand of well-crafted gags and acerbic delivery earning him high praise from audiences and critics alike.
The 22-year-old rising star has won a whole host of awards including Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2012, Welsh Unsigned Stand-Up Award 2011, Loaded Laftas New Act Award 2011 and the Leicester Square Theatre New Act of the Year Award 2011 as well as being nominated for Chortle Best Newcomer 2012. He appeared on Chris Ramsey's Comedy Fringe (BBC3) performing a short stand up set that brought the house down.
