Be Prepared for…
Harald Grosskopf: in the late 70’s Harald took to an apartment with his Minimoog and recorded one of the first great albums to be tagged kosmische, Synthesist. His work in the 80’s has had something of a revival of late, thanks to high profile fans like Oneohtrix Point Never. His shimmering, propulsive synth pieces manage to be both experimental and accessible, and is a touchstone for many modern out-sounds. Be Prepared could not be more delighted to present this rare London show.
"Synthesist offers a complex array of feelings and settings, but it flows together and feels complete. Throughout, is a sense of joy, wonder, and playful exploration, even when the music leans dark. Best New Reissue." Pitchfork

Pye Corner Audio: over the past few years, the Head Technician has been churning out amazing looking-back-to-move-forward records at an astounding rate. From his sinister retro-futurist jams, to dark drone, to dance floor fillers- his fluid muse maintains his indelible mark.
"Anybody who found themselves a little underwhelmed by the last Boards of Canada album could do worse than to enter the world of Pye Corner Audio for a superior dose of apparitional electronica and uncanny ambience.” The Quietus

Glottalstop: Petrels’ Oli Barrett manipulates recordings of cello into haunted horror movie collages and spiky noise.
"Woodsmoke is a potpourri of sound, a wealth of sources that produces a sweet sonic curry." A Closer Listen
