DUNAJSKA KAPELYE DUO

“The Danube Band" play the sweetest Gypsy violin in London, taking their influence from the folk traditions of Eastern Europe. The duo opening tonight's show comprises Polish supreme violinist Piotr Jordan and multi-instrumentalist Zac Gvirtzman on accordion. They combine to produce a sound that evokes your onwn heart strings being played.

A hot Cuba-UK soundclash from these 9 young musicians who have emerged out of the London Latin scene. Forging an exciting sound of their own - Cuban salsa and timba fuse with cutting edge UK soul, funk, hip hop and reggae into the tropical template. Wara express the Latin American experience of living here in the UK today, with lyrics and rapping that are socially conscious and full of humour.

DELE SOSIMI AFROBEAT ORCHESTRA

A very welcome appearance from the UK's ambassador for the afrobeat sound. Dele Sosimi was rhythm keyboardist for 7 years with Nigerian afrobeat founder – the legendary Fela Kuti. He then went on to become band leader for Femi Kuti and the Positive Force band. Now playing with his own afrobeat orchestra, we thoroughly look forward to funky rhythm guitars, fiery percussion and blazing horns in this anniversary headliner.
