London based Cellophony are all masters of the cello, fusing eight instruments into one powerful sound, whilst preserving the intimacy of the solo cello. From the opening of Wagner’s Prelude to Tristan und Isolde, through selections from Schubert and Mendelssohn, Cellophony perform respectful and yet innovative arrangements that provide an integral part of the ensemble’s achingly rich and emotive sound.
