Recently signed to the legendary Warp Records Pivot is comprised of Sydney’s Laurence and Richard Pike, plus Perth electronic manipulator Dave Miller. Influenced by synthesizer luminary Vangelis, Warp label mates such as Autechre, and the post-punk new wave of Talking Heads, Pivot are reminiscent of Battles in their combination of electronic and organic elements to create an outstanding groove. They will release their first single ‘In The Blood’ on Warp records in May.
