Workshopping with BUDDY WAKEFIELD (usa)

Buddy Wakefield is a poet (a three times international poetry slam champion, to be more specific) who is touring the UK and Europe this winter. www.buddywakefield.com

This workshop will be a friendly, relaxed and supportive opportunity to workshop some of our writing with Buddy, as well as discuss the nature of poetry and performance, and ask all kinds of question about his art form, your art form, and his life and work as a touring poet. It will be fun.

Buddy says 'Whoever is attending should bring tons of questions and a [performance] poem to receive in-the-moment feedback if so desired.
The feedback will go to those brave enough to volunteer first!'

We can't guarantee one-to-one feedback for everyone's work but we will all have the chance to ask questions and engage in group discussion. It will be a safe, supportive and welcoming space. If you're a bit nervous about workshops, come along anyway, we will be nice to you.

The bar will be open for tea, soft drinks or booze if you like!
