Dubbed "the best night out in Shoreditch" and "the mother of all messy nights" by those that know best, The Big Ten Inch is returning to its Oxford birthplace for one night only in November.

Once described as "a man born not hopelessly out of time, but gloriously so", the ubiquitous scenester Sir Bald Diddley (aka Hipbone Slim) has been at the forefront of all things analogue and "old cool" for decades - receiving praise from the late John Peel, recording at the infamous Toerag Studios and collaborating with Holly Golightly since long before Jack White first uttered the words, "This looks fine, but do you have one in red?"

Tonight Sir Bald brings his riotous rhythm & blues revue to The Big Ten Inch, featuring honkytonk piano, double bass, hot horns and the accaimed Mungo Jerry and Billy Childish sticksman Bruce 'Bash' Brand on drums. It's gonna get hot and it's gonna get wild.

Spinning killer vintage rhythms from the top to the very last drop are Trojan Records remixer-du-jour Count Skylarkin and Disco Shed favourite Kerry-On-Wax, taking in age-old dancefloor thrillers from the cotton clubs to the caribbean and back again. Arrive early!
