Celebrating 50 years of folk arts at Halsway Manor! Join us for a day in the capital, at Cecil Sharp House, for a participatory day of music, dance, song and storytelling, culminating in a grand evening dance and music session. All ages and abilities welcome.
We'll also be using the opportunity to talk about our exciting projects, TELLING TALES (supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund) and OUR FUTURE, our ambitious project to restore and sensitively develop Halsway Manor and grounds, making it accessible to all to enjoy the folk arts for 50 more years to come!
The day will feature many of Halsway’s regular tutors and performers - Boldwood, Pauline Cato, Pete Coe, Andy Cutting, Gavin Davenport, James Findlay, Fi Fraser, Tom Goodale, Rob Harbron, Paul James, Leveret, Fee Lock, Bob Morgan, Miranda Rutter, Yvette Staelens, Rod Stradling, Barn Stradling, Andrew Swaine, Jon Swayne, Taffy Thomas and more - who are giving their time for free to support Halsway’s ‘Our Future’ Development Appeal.
Other artists and special events to be confirmed.
