With the end of the festive season and the dawning of a whole new year, your thoughts will already be turning to getting yourself moving again and maybe burning off some of that winter blubber. But before you squeeze yourself into those Lycra leggings and force yourself onto the treadmill, why not push the boat out one last time? Go on. For old times' sake! Why not let yourself off the leash for one final night of winter entertainment and indulgence? You almost certainly deserve it.

Come out and play with Nazu Enzuru and treat yourself to their delightful and utterly unique reworking of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet at the Comberton Sports and Arts Centre this January.

Set aside everything you thought you knew about this classic tale of star-crossed, ill-fated lovers. For although it may be a tragedy in some respects (death, suicide, murder, etc), it's not all tears and turmoil. Far from it! Anyone who has seen Nasu Enzuru before will know by now to expect the expected, and with this ordinarily woeful tale, the same rules definitely apply. This means that as well as music and madness, leaping and frolicking, there will also be a healthy dollop of daftness and a full-fat portion of folly as Nasu Enzuru shine a brilliant and blazing light through the darkness. Weep with joy! And joy at weeping!

The stuffiness of the classroom-Shakespeare has been drop-kicked into oblivion and in its place is the fast-paced slapstick and a distinctly bawdy romp, just as Shakespeare originally intended. This production is NOT suitable for young children.

Those who desire it may come early to loosen up to some live music and lubricate themselves with inexpensive beverages in the lounge bar.
