The Understudies

With the English pop sensibilities of The Housemartins and The Smiths, Brian's lyrics are witty, bittersweet, ferociously honest and at times, disarmingly beautiful. Having gigged extensively throughout the UK and mainland Europe taking in festivals and live radio sessions they've done their time and perfected their craft. With the recent addition of cellist Becky Dixon bringing to the live gigs the fuller sound of the album, they emerge as a band to be reckoned with.
