'We Come Alive': carefully curated, inspirational bands and songwriters at The Harrison, Kings Cross - a pub with amazing ales, great food, smiling faces and a great sounding music room. The evening is hosted by Danny from Laish and the first night sold out in four days of going on sale and was a night described by one tweet as 'like being at End of the Road Festival, but in a pub'.

Mary Mary Ann Hampton

With a voice that is achingly beautiful, piercing and precise, Mary is fetching out old songs from the silent archives of the traditional canon, and winching up new ones from her imagination. She has created quite a world that is ethereal and enormously affecting. A tenor guitar in hand, and accompanied by a team of collaborators, she will provide a quiet and beautiful end to this very special evening.

Alabaster is a rare man. Restlessly creative, collaborative and eternally grateful of his part in the game. He has written some of my favourite songs. Part performance poet, part Leonard Cohen, part jazz saxophonist and something of the Ivor Cutler - yet these comparisons mean next to nothing. He will bless a room with his unpredictable presence and all are hypnotised. Do not miss.

Benedict Benjamin is the new solo project of Ben Rubinstein of The Mariner's Children and Peggy Sue. With the most powerfully delicate voice, he belts out songs with a rare honesty. His heartbreak and protest is a personal one and it is worth bearing witness to his magnetic stage presence.
