The Strummer Room Project Presents...returns with another cracking line-up, headed by the wonderful The Pink Diamond Revue
The Pink Diamond Revue are already well known in the area. They mix up a dense, doomy palette of robot beats, shimmering surf guitar, queasy electronic wobbliness and stuff that goes hiss and pssst - choooo and top it off with a disembodied voice describing a death-row inmate’s final meal, and some floaty harmonies. Nightshift (magazine) Demo of The Month - October 2014.
Sam Martin - is a singer, songwriter and musician from Banbury, Oxfordshire.
Since an early age, Sam has written and performed his own music around the UK. In 2010 he recorded his first independent solo Acoustic demo and later went on to record two more EP's with various backing bands and independent studios. With musical styles ranging from Acoustic and Alternative to Blues and Rock, Sam's vocal and instrumental ability has been heard throughout various high profile venues and events around the UK. Currently working towards his first debut album with his backing band, Sam's ever evolving and diverse style displays years of influence and passion.
Robert Lanyon - is a singer songwriter from Oxfordshire England. He's been writing and playing for over 17 years and has a very eclectic style and loves nothing more than improvising and debasing music into its rawest form. To Rob, it's all about passion and emotion.
Emma Hunter - formerly known as Emma De Lacey, is an experienced singer and songwriter. She has played the main stage of Truck Festival in one of her previous bands AmberState. They were chosen by Bob Harris to fill the Bob Harris Presents slot and gathered much interest from their self titled album AmberState. Emma was also the lead singer for The Halcyons, and in both bands enjoyed playing the Oxfordshire festival and gig circuit.
Emma has since gone solo and is enjoying exploring the world of David Lynch inspired evil-mexican music. She would like you to imagine yourself on a desert plain in Mexico, somewhere in the past.
