Shake Up The Scene has joined forces with POUT to create an exciting, unique, queer Valentines event called "Valentine Swing!" on Friday 13th February from 9pm to 3am.

This retro, cool, Valentine night is set in the charming private event space of the Komedia where a free glass of bubbly will be waiting for each of our guests upon arrival.

A talented and professional Brighton Swing Band comprising of both male and female vocalists, female clarinet, male on trumpet and who knows on drums and guitar will be dressed to impress us all and will be playing some upbeat, thrilling swing, jive and 1940s boogie.

So couples get snazzed up and swing your romance into the valentines night of lurve and if you're solo we'll have cupids little helpers ready to mingle the singles and perhaps help you find your "maybe more".

We end the evening with POUT"s resident DJ merging lindy hop swing fused with dance tunes progressing the night through to 3am leaving you with that old school club night feeling.
